The plan

What lands in your inbox

01

Placement drawing

Every fixture positioned on your floor plan, with spacing and mounting height called out. Your electrician can work from it directly.

02

Light level map

An isolux plan of light levels across the whole floor, with average, minimum and uniformity stated, so you see the result before buying anything.

03

Fixture schedule

Model, wattage, quantity and voltage for each line, ready to drop into a quote or a purchase order.

Sample output

This is what a plan looks like

Real calculations from two example projects: a 48 m by 30 m loading yard lit by four of our EX-200W A Series floods, and a 30 m by 18 m production hall with fifteen EX-100W B Series high bays. Every value is computed point by point from the fixtures' published IES photometric files.

Calculation view: maintained illuminance bands across the yard, four EX-200W A Series floods on the building wall at 7.5 m.

Point-by-point grid: lux values at grade with isolines. Average 46 lux across the yard, 141 lux peak at the dock doors.

Photometric summary sheet: interior example, 244 lux average maintained at the 0.85 m work plane, uniformity 0.44.

Both examples are direct illuminance calculations from published IES data. Your plan is built for your actual site, obstructions and target levels.

How it works

Four steps, two days

1 / 4

Describe your space

Dimensions, mounting height and what the room is used for. A floor plan helps, but a photo of a hand sketch is enough.

2 / 4

We confirm the details

If anything is unclear we ask right away, so no time is lost on wrong assumptions.

3 / 4

We build the plan

Fixture selection and a point by point light calculation from real IES photometric data.

4 / 4

You receive the PDF

Placement drawing, lux map and fixture schedule in your inbox within 48 hours.

Before you start

What to have on hand

Dimensions and mounting height

Length, width and the height the fixtures will hang at.

What the space does

Washdown line, foundry floor, warehouse aisles: the use decides the target light level.

Current fixtures, if this is a retrofit

Type, wattage and count of what is up there now, so the plan shows the before and after.

A drawing, if you have one

PDF, DWG or a photo of a hand sketch. Rough is fine, we work with what you have.

Straight answers

Is it really free?

Yes. The plan is free for projects built on NemaLED fixtures. Large multi building sites are scoped with you first.

Is this a stamped engineering drawing?

No. It is a planning document to size and position your lighting. Code compliance sign off stays with your electrician or engineer.

Do you cover hazardous locations?

Yes. Class I, Class II and Class III locations are our specialty. State the classification in the form and the plan only uses fixtures rated for that location.

What if I only have rough numbers?

Send what you have. We would rather start from a sketch today than from a perfect drawing next month.
